1. Reduced plate thicknesses in relation to the insulation provided (in terms of thermal resistance, a THERMOTOP plate with a thickness of 50 mm is equal to a plate of expanded polystyrene with a thickness of approximately 100 mm or a BCA wall with a thickness of approximately 700mm);
2. They allow different variations thereof to support foam (Aluminum foil – Al, glass fiber – FG, roofing felt – B, Kraft paper – P), depending on the thermally insulated construction element;
3. By selecting an appropriate foam support, one may obtain excellent protection performances against vapors and humidity;
4. Easy to handle and install;
5. Inexistent thermal bridges at the junction with adjacent plates all around the frame due to the joinery ensuring thermal insulation continuity.
